If you are feeling low in energy, sluggish and overwhelmed, look around you. Are you drowning in clutter? If so, it is time to declutter your way to more energy and abundance in your life.

There are several types of clutter in our lives including physical clutter, mental clutter and emotional clutter. These three in particular drain our inner resources when they are out of control. Organizing your home and your life will enable you to regain your flow of energy.

Physical clutter is the clutter that is in the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, etc. How do you know your clutter is out of control? If it takes you a longer time to find things or you feel lost and fearful without knowing why, your clutter is out of control. If you always have to declutter and clean before you can invite company or, worse yet, you shudder to think someone would drop by unexpectedly, then you definitely need to declutter.

Since it took time for clutter to come into your house, it will take time to clear it out. Be patient and work in 15 minute segments of time if the job is too overwhelming. Just think how much you could accomplish in a week by taking small steps in decluttering and organizing your home.

Mental clutter can be addressed by writing things down which will help you organize your thoughts. This may be in the form of a "to do" list or planning gift giving for the holidays. Another way to clean mental clutter is to choose to be around positive people that give you energy rather negative people that drain your energy.

Meditation will help to clear emotional clutter. This can be done at home, in a place of worship or any other place that is beautiful, calming and nurturing. Forgiving others as well as being forgiven will assist in getting rid of emotional clutter .
